The Mystery of The Cross

 

How do you describe or even understand a mystery. It is indeed a mystery. The mystery has steps. It is a process, but the process in itself is a mystery. Now the mystery confounds itself. Don’t tell anybody the Lord Jesus did it. They’ll put you away. The mystery of the cross is not to solve, it is to contemplate. One mistake people make in contemplating the cross is that they put themselves first as the potential understander. it is better to resign oneself to being the last understander, or to just remain in awe. Did you ever pray and not know exactly what to pray for? He interprets it and answers it before you know it. It is not born of impatience. If I’m wrong I will welcome criticism. In order to create a mystery there has to be something existing but not yet defined. Or maybe hiding as behind a veil. The cross is or has a paradox within; the coexistence of death and life.
